Are you prepared to receive from God? In this episode, Jeanette discusses the Prayer of Jabez, which is a powerful prayer to ask God to open closed doors, direct you, and enlarge your territory. Praying this prayer means being ready for God to do just that, even if it means taking scary steps out of your comfort zone.
Watching the television series, The Chosen, has helped Jeanette to remember that God can change us and He can change our circumstances. For example, God changed the names of many people in the Bible to signify their transformation. Trusting in your own transformation and finding your identity in Christ, will help you to trust in and wait for the favor and blessings of God.
The Prayer of Jabez can lead to life-changing opportunities that align with God's will, but it requires faith and trust in Him. When you pray for God to enlarge your territory, you are asking Him to enlarge your capacity to receive and your have to be ready for Him to do so, even if it is scary or unexpected. When you pray the Prayer of Jabez with a sincere heart, God will open many doors for you.
